As bikers were waiting for their final punch and for their poker hand to be read at the Texas County Activity Center, they were treated to cold beverages and music by the young local band High Voltage.

New this year was the water stop at the Kenton Mercantile near Black Mesa.  The ladies loved visiting the bikers and hoped the bikers enjoyed their brief stop to refresh and learn a little bit about the area.

We sincerely thank everyone who rode out to the Oklahoma Panhandle to participate in the 5-State Run.  The money raised is given back to community members who have medical needs.  In fact, it was reported during the run that a little girl Iron Thunder had donated to received word that a heart became available that day and she received the heart transplant on May 10.  She is now doing fine and is at home recuperating.  Your attendance at the 5-State Run allows us to be generous to those with medical and financial needs.

The Iron Thunder Motorcycle Club hopes you had a great time and we want to see you again on Saturday, May 8, 2010!
