Okay, this is what you came here for, right?! If you want a website, but you're not sure where to begin, that's fine.

The way I design is very 'laid back', hence the name Friendly Webguru! Most of the sites I do are information sites. These are the sites I enjoy and feel comfortable doing, and feel I do best.

I typically receive an email from someone looking for a site, and our initial contact is via email. If you are within driving distance, then I set up a time to come and visit, and we can go over what you are looking for. I will usually ask you to give me some websites that you like the look of, and this gives me an idea of what you are looking for. Once we have the initial 'look' of the site established, then you simply give me the content and I add it to the site for you. While the site is under construction, I host it on my friendlywebguru.com server, and you can look at it the entire time it is being built.

Once we are both happy with how the site is looking and feel we've tweaked it about as far as it can go, then I will go ahead and upload it for you to your company domain name. At that point, the website is then under your own domain name, and 'live' on the web.

I then submit it to the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN) for you. With the number of websites out there now, it can take about 3 weeks for these search engines to 'crawl' your new site, so don't be concerned if it doesn't show up for a little while when you do a search!
